So you want to play Intramurals here at Crews…

Did you know that it is totally free, fun, and a fantastic way to spend your time?   Intramurals are a great way to meet and bond with other friends, refine your skills, relieve stress, mold life long character qualities and much more.  This program is not meant to be competitive nor do we play other schools.  We only play at Crews and we don't hold practices or wear uniforms.  We do ask that your child dress out.    We want this to be a fun time while also being a safe and encouraging time.

We start intramurals after the second bus call and end by 5:30.  If you child needs to leave earlier, we ask that they let us know so we can keep track of them.  We want this program to work with you and your family and we know they need to get home or to another activity.  So, please don't let this keep them from participating.

Sportsmanship is a vital part of our program.  So what is good sportsmanship?  Simply put it is to play fair, to have fun, and to concentrate on helping the team while polishing your own skills.

Ideas to live by:

  • Keep your perspective. It's just a game.

  • Set a good example with your courteous behavior towards others.

  • Applaud good plays no matter who makes them.

  • After a competition, it's important not to dwell on who won or lost. Instead, try asking, "How did you feel you did during the game?"

  • Keep your comments positive.

  • Finally, don't forget to have fun.
