A BUTTERFLY GARDEN OF YOUR OWN

A butterfly garden is easy to grow and maintain if you remember a few simple facts.

1)  Most plants in a butterfly garden need at least 6-8 hours of sun a day.

2)  Have your garden in a place where there is some shelter (a fence, shrubs, etc.)

3)  Have a mix of annuals, perennials and shrubs so you will have a variety of flowers.

4)  Be sure to provide plants that are host plants as well as nectar plants. (see links below)

5) Provide some sort of water source.

6) Do NOT use pesticides.
