Description:
The intent of School Councils is to bring communities and schools closer together in a spirit of cooperation.
In addition the intent is:
to serve in an advisory capacity
to improve academic achievement
to serve in an advisory capacity
to provide support for teachers & administrators
to bring parents into the school-based decision-making process
to help our Board of Education develop and nurture participation
to create a better understanding of & mutual respect for each other’s concerns
to share ideas for school improvement
