Alton C. Crews Middle School is dedicated to building a tradition of excellence. In the ten years that our school has been in this community, we have focused on goals which will improve student achievement in the areas of math, language arts, science, social studies, and exploratory subjects. Technology has been infused throughout all aspects of student learning to prepare our students for the business world of the 21st century. To help us continue our quest to become a world class school, we are pleased to offer a program that we believe is an asset to both Alton C. Crews Middle School and our business community. The Crews Middle School Business Partnership Program is the result of brainstorming between parents and businesses about ways that our school can work in partnership with our community. We know that good schools build strong communities, and strong communities are vital for businesses to thrive. According to Richard Tucker, former President of the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, if Gwinnett County wants to continue to prosper and experience the quality of life were accustomed to, we have to keep a keen eye focused on creating a well-educated Gwinnett. We need our businesses to stay involved in education, forming partnerships and mentor programs with local schools and students." We hope that if you know business leaders in our community, you will encourage them to participate in the Alton C. Crews Middle School Business Partnership Program. Businesses can join at four different levels of commitment. Businesses that participate in our Partnership Program will benefit by: Advertising their company in our school newsletter. The Trail Blazer is distributed four times each year to over 1,300 Crews families. Listing on our award-winning school website. We'll gladly include a hyperlink to their company website, too. Recognizing their business at PTSA and school events Acknowledging our partnership with a plaque in the front lobby of our school and at their place of business. Inviting them on a school tour so they can see first-hand how our students benefit from materials purchased with their donations. Click here to view information about becoming a business partner.
