Temporarily Dropping Grades to Get a Test Average 

1. Open your 1st Period Class (3rd Quarter).  Click on Tasks in the Menu Bar and then click on Drop/Restore Scores.
2. On the next screen, choose Drop Scores, click Next.
3. On the right side of the screen, keep the "X" by everything except the Tests. The tests (and/or other large assessments) should not have an "X", so that they are not dropped. Do not get nervous. All dropped scores can easily be restored.
4. At the bottom of that window, fill in how many scores you want dropped, then click on Next. Click on Drop.

5. After you see the students' averages for the tests only, you can print a hard copy, and then restore all the grades.

6. To restore, go back to Tasks, Drop/Restore Scores, and on the next screen, Choose Restore Previously Dropped Scores, click Next, Click Next, Click Restore.

(You'll have to repeat the same procedure for each of your classes).
