What is Tech. Ed.?

       The Tech Ed classroom is designed to compliment the academic curriculum by offering a program that gives students a real world application to learning.  Students discover a variety of career technologies from programming robots to flying airplanes.  The focus is on problem solving and the design process.  If you were to visit this Tech Ed lab you would see students actively engaged in hands-on activities. 

Did you know?.............Technology comes from the Greek word "technos", which means "art'.

Technology is sort of like art, in that you use your creativity to come up with inventions.  Invention, simply stated, is artwork that solves problems.  For that matter, inventers used to be referred to as artisans.
