Where were you born? and/or grow up? Woodbury, NJ    South Florida
Do you have a pet?  If so, what kind and what is its name? Grayhound "Denny"
Why did you pick teaching as your career? Wanted to help kids
What is your favorite part of teaching? Seeing the kids "get it"
Is is difficult to plan things students will like? yes
What were your hobbies as an adolescent? reading, drama, singing, crafts
During your middle school years, what grade level did you enjoy the most and why? 8th grade, I became less shy and participated in many school activities
What is your favorite subject to teach and why? Social Studies: it's interesting, exciting and fun to go to other places
What other places have you taught? Five Forks
What is your favorite college memory and what college did you go to? University of Georgia for both undergraduate and graduate school
How many years have you been a teacher? 7
Who inspired you to teach and why? Mrs. Tinsley my 8th grade Language Arts teacher.  She made learning fun and exciting.
What was your favorite subject in school? Language Arts
What is your degree in? English 7-12 and Instructional Technology
What are some of your hobbies? Cross stitching, cake decorating
What is your favorite food and/or restaurant? I love ethnic food.  Mexican and Chinese are my favorites
What makes up a good student? hard work and willingness to learn
