Syllabus Additions:
  • be sure to cover the consequences of being on a website that is not approved or your did not ask permission.  You will not be warned again you will be give a consequence.
  • When I am talking you are not to be talking.
  • When you come into the room you are not to roam the room but you are to sit in your seat and log in and remain in your seat.
  • You will not be allowed to use the restroom until after the first 5 minutes of class.
  • You may not use the restroom more than 2 times in one week during my class.

  • Pass out the Stock Company Research handouts.  Student look up "passion" industry stocks on the WeSeed website.
  • They will do side 2 tomorrow so bring back for HW.

  • Add a new paragraph about your own city you would like to create below the L'ville paragraph

  • Now students need to add Drop Cap, Justify paragraph and then finally add 2 "Favorites" Tables

  • Pass out Student laminated newspapers.  Have stud. review names of the newspapers.
  • Start Newspaper project.
  • Start Newspaper Proj. in Publisher... Select paper: 8 1/2 x 14 in., Change margins .25, add page border, line at 2 in. mark and then the title of the paper in Word/Art .   Save and exit.
  • Give students handout and have them highlight key parts: ADD requirement of frames, clipart etc.
