The following list of skills were identified over thecourse of several years by middle school computer science teachers. These objectives were presented to the public and other computer teachersin the county. They were approved in the spring of 1997. Thegoal behind developing this list of skills was to first, to establish thehighest level of computer instruction; second, to maintain consistant standardsamong the county's 14 middle schools; and finally to communicate to parentsand other interested groups the curriculum of middle school computer science.
