WWW stands for World Wide Web. The www are the three letters
found in an URL address. WWW.com
is just a small part of what is found in an Internet's address. The www
normally preceeds the main computer name (which is usually the organization,
company, school, or government, name).
The com part is what identifies whether a site is com
(commercial), edu (education), gov (government), org (organization), or
net (network).
