  1. Ready to Animate the Gift Card or Coupon?  Video #1 (time: 5:15) Note:2 layers present
     

  2. Next, Take your 4 ppt. slides to Flash: The 1st part show how to save an animation element and then how to HyperSnap the ppt. background. 
    **Note this uses 2 layer animation    .  Video #2 Part I (time, 4:34)
     

  3. Animate the 4 ppt. slide in Flash using *2 layer approach Video #3  Part II (time, 4:30)
     

  4. Advanced Animation... Continuation of Video 3 shows how to do filters like blur and drop shadow Video #4 (time, 3:06)
     

  5. Simple 1 layer approach using HyperSnap and Flash ( grade no greater than an 85: Video #5 (time, 5:02)

Written instructions:

 

1. Open PowerPoint and create a new slide and then
Start with a title: (In WordArt)
Example:   "Cut Out and Save"
                "Get More for Less"
                "Sales that Save"

                    "Looking for a Savings?"

                    "Take a Look at This"

* Include under the title a short description on the need to print and bring in the coupon.
 

2. On the same slide draw a Coupon for your business using the tools in PowerPoint.  See if you can get the rectangle you draw to have dotted lines like a coupon might have.

 

3.  Inside the coupon, include the following:

    a.  Company Name/ Graphic

    b.  Value for the coupon

    c.  *optional: Expiration for the coupon
